Something else seen while trying to take photos of nesting kittiwakes and artic terns on the cliffs, these pigeons had their nests beneath overhanging clumps of moss hanging from the rocks on the cliff, considering there were a lot of herring gulls and other gulls about, think it was a pretty dangerous place for baby pigeons

Very much an ancestral type of habitat for them to use.It's true some may get predated by the larger gulls. In London a few Lesser Black-backs specialise in drowning + eating Feral Pigeons.
