I've just read this and it's supposed to be bright and frosty tomorrow morning and 7s not too early ''At 7.03am on Christmas Day, the space station will be visible for five minutes at 29 degrees above the horizon.'' Alright it says from Norfolk but I don't think the county matters much ian

Stuck my head out the door just before 7 this morning and looked up seemed to be lots of cloud but I stepped out and looked around the clearer parts of sky were almost right overhead but more clear patches started to appear. It was really quite nice to hear the cathedrals bells ring out 7o'clock I often hear them here but this morning they were extra clear must have been the cold air I guess as the crow flies it has to be 4 or 5 miles away. Then the space station appeared higher in the sky than I thought it would be and a different trajectory to where I usually see it but the space station none the less nice Christmas prezzy Then back inside for some scrambled eggs and toast with bread made by my own fair hands Have a good day everyone merry Christmas ian

Have a good day too, Ian. I was out with the dog at 7am and it was completely clear. Pity I didn't see your first post earlier. I've found this site - www.heavens-above.com/?lat=0&lng=0&loc=Unspecified&alt=0&tz=UCT useful for the ISS sightings. You need to login with your Lat. and Long to get the correct info, but the login is free. Dave
