We have been doing a bit of clearing up in the garden and one of the things moved around was this bin without a lid -
When we continued our clearing yesterday morning we found these two frogs in the bottom of the bin
We can't work out how they got into the bin. They might have jumped on to the upturned plastic box close to the bin first, but even that would be a fairly good jump and then another good jump into the bin.
Still puzzled.

Last summer I discovered a frog in one of our drains outside... but it's covered by a wire mesh grating I put over it for the purpose of keeping them from falling in!
I could hear a strange plopping sound as it tried to jump out- when I pulled the wire mesh off and looked through I saw it, about 30cm down. I had to put rubber gloves on, reach down in the drain and try and grab a frog who was extremely resistant to the idea of being rescued.
It was a fully grown frog, too- no idea how it managed to get in there.
Could your two possibly have climbed that bamboo fencing and fallen in from there? They seem capable of doing weird and wonderful things! (Although those are very plump frogs to be climbing anything, I have to say.)

After some thought we wondered if they could have climbed up the bamboo and dropped in, but didn't know if they could climb that well.
