Another example of how some treat the outdoors

I'm beginning to sound like a moaning old bloke(Mrs Tringa says, "What do mean, beginning!") but I saw this while early one morning while out with the dog.

The dog managed to get in the way but the box says '12x6ft Black Football Goal'.

Seems someone bought a couple of these, took the boxes to the field and used the goal, but then just left the boxes behind.

I don't understand the thought process that gets someone to do this.
