There seem "constraints" on some members uploading images to this site (maybe newer members?). I can't load anything to this site (however small) so always have to load elsewhere and link through the image or video link options e.g. - I don't know if you can see that (which is the OPs image link and for me just shows as a small question mark in a small blue box). Ian

It is a rose as can be seen from the stem & leaves but the red flower like structure is a gall known as a Robin's Pincushion & is caused by a tiny gall wasp, Diplolepis rosae, whose larvae develop inside it.
