I've decided with lockdown, time I learnt a bit more about bird ID (on which I'm totally useless as this question well demonstrates).
Never really tried to tell the difference between Dunncocks and Sparrows but last night (early morning) my trailcam caught this guy and from looking in my books I thought a Dunncock (bill and plumage - mainly eye and neck from looking in my books).
Am I right or totally way off?
Many thanks (end expect more pretty basic questions as I try and get to grips with more bird IDs if I find more shut at home).
