Dusk last night listening to the birds last hurrah of the day, as the first bat flew past I thought it looked a little odd. Just a small bat flying slowly and looked to be struggling, as it flew in front of me I could see one wing badly torn and wondered how it could manage like that.
Will the wing membrane repair itself? or is it stuck with it until the end?
I remember when handling bats as a kid how delicate the wings felt.
As it flew past one of the crows flew by the other way now that would snap it up if it got half a chance ian
