Yes Stinking Iris which is grown in gardens for it's colourful seed pods as well as being a native.

Our house was built about 60 years ago, literally on a green field, and my mother says this plant has always appeared every now and then in different parts of the garden, like the Cuckoo-flower we still get here. So it could be a native plant. On the other hand, I guess it could have spread from neighbouring gardens.
Co-incidentally, I think the only other place I've seen it is at the Totternhoe reserve we visited the other week.

This plant arrived in my garden last year, none of the neighbours have it so I expect it came with a bird.
