We saw this when we were in Stanmore Country Park back in May, (I have been having Flickr issues... sorted now ). Ground-covering plant with small blue flowers, growing out in the open on a grassy hillside.

Wat we used to call "Birds eyes" in my youth. (Well, I still do)!

It's actually Field Speedwell- an annual + common on disturbed soil such as in gardens.. Note the single white petal; all blue on Germander which also has 2 lines of hairs down the stem.
