Is anyone else having problems with Flickr today? This morning it told me I needed to change my password to include both numbers and a symbol, so I did.
When I went to sign in this evening with the new password it kept refusing it... so I reverted to the original one, and then it worked.
Now it's not showing all my photos- lots of blank places, and when I went to try and link to two photos from the Reptiles and Amphibians forum one of them isn't appearing in my post.
I did have more to upload, but I'm going to leave it until tomorrow and see if it's any better.

I have had no end of problems with Flickr over the last few days. I got the message to reregister my password as Flikcr were changing their log in system and doing some sort up upgrade. When I clicked on the link to re-register it took me to BT which ended locking me out as I had tried my Flickr password, then I tried by BT password (I have two) then tried Flickr password again. It took me ages to try and get back to Flickr, and when I did so up cake BT. Scream! So I did all the usual, switching off PC, clearing temp files etc. Still no luck, so I waited till the next day. I did get to t he Flickr log-in, but it said my password was wrong, so I clicked the forgotton password, go a link in my emails which came up with change your password, so I put in my normal Flickr password - bingo! Back in flickr all my photos were there. I hope they have now sorted their change of system or whatever!

My problems with Flikr reached new heights. Despite having found my link and photos, the next time I opend the link - nothing! I eventually found a help contact Flickr by email. Which I did. They were very quick in answering but! They gave me a link to a very old Filkr that I set up in 2009 and only had a few photos in it. When I replyed that the link was very old and I wanted the link I had now, I was told that Flikr do not support BT internet domains. My Flickr was with BT Yahoo. They said if I replied to make sure I used their PRO email, which would be answered imediately, otherwise their email for free customers, whould have to wait. There was also a bit about free customers were only allowed a thousand photos and then they would start deleting photos, from the oldest up. I have thrown in the towel, having looked at SmugBug, Photobucket and a few other and seeing they all charge, I am staying with my old 2009 flickr, which means, I think folks, that any recent photos I posted will not show in my posts PS Daughter says that as my BT Yahoo is still active albeit not accessable by me, my photos will still be shown

Helen- I know, I don't like how Flickr are dealing with their recent changes to accounts at all. They could have let member keep their photos in place without deleting them like they are doing. Alf had the same problem with Photobucket, and now his images in the forum are gone as well. To tell you at this late date that they're not supporting BT internet is a bit naughty as well... they should have done that ages ago.
I had to bite the bullet and pay for a membership- we had uploaded Wabi members photos to Flickr when ProBoards storage space filled up, and I didn't want to lose everyone's' images.

I could scream and am still screaming. Why don't you let me contribute some money towards your membership of Flickr. Don't see why you should be paying for us to enjoy the photos on your site.

Helen, that is really, really kind of you to offer- but it's ok, you don't have to do that! We had shifted dozens of photos over to the Wabi account when the limited space here started to fill up, and I use it to store personal photos for safe keeping as well... I've done a lot of family history research over the years and I'm going to put old antique photos there.
I've sent you a pm.
