Whilst I am no supporter of her politics or indeed other land gentry or indeed knights of the ream with the same political leanings, she was most kind, generous, and witty, like many others of her station. However, she was also a plain speaker but nevertheless deluded in believing in country sports.
Neither did she suffer fools gladly to which I found most refreshing in this world of misrepresentation. And so I highly recommend the following to be a jolly good read from the lady with a stern exterior but in fact was nothing of the kind, in other words “never judge a person by their appearance, accent, or indeed a book by its cover.”
