Just love the way the sun highlight the details of the Fly Agaric. Hubby and I used to always call them Puftters. On our walks we would see their tops just emerging from the ground, then on our way back, pufft just like that, there they were in all their glory. From my Cartoons by Helen Skelton, on Flickr

I just have to laugh at your cartoon Helen, the word Puftter is a term I am familiar with, I worked in the coal mines for 22 years and the term Puftter was given to a person who was in charge of a gang of miners working in a heading, in the construction industry he would be called a Ganger, I wonder if the mining term came about because like a mushroom he was kept in the dark an fed on bull...t sorry about that,, Duncan
