Had to be taken as long shots. They were along a burn edge under trees - fir, alder, willow mix, ground very wet.

It's a milkwort. Can't really see the details of the leaves, but do look opposite in which case Heath Milkwort, Polygala serpyllifolia, which is found only on acid soils.

I thought milkwort was blue? or is the Marsh white? Gosh I wish I could have got closer

Milkworts are variable in colour with various blues, purples, pinks + whites. There are Common + Heath Milkwort (there isn't a marsh one) your way with the latter on acid soils + the former on neutral to basic soils.
