It's a North American species- Western Conifer Seedbug, Leptoglossus occidentalis, which now occurs in Europe + seem to largely get found this time of year- quite often in moth traps.
The only one I've seen was on the outside of a shop window in Hastings. Handsome bugs

Thanks aeshna I put it outside so it will have to look somewhere else to overwinter.
