This evening I realised that our group of gangling teenaged foxes had gained a new member... suddenly there were five of them out in the middle of the grassy bit of the garden. I don't know where this extra one has come from, but the original four didn't seem to mind- in fact, they were positively thrilled with their new playmate.
The light was unfortunately not good enough to get any photos, and they were a bit too far away anyway- but I watched them playing until it got too dark to see them anymore... standing up on hind legs and wrestling and tumbling over each other before scrambling up to dash about like lunatics.
It was magical, seeing so many of them leaping about and playing like puppies.

I loved your description of the foxes, well done, it must be great to watch them grow up healthy in your garden. Duncan

That sounds like a great observation to have.
I think "a frolick" should be recognised as the collective noun for young foxes.
