This one dug up by the daughter a few weeks back whilst gardening with the kids at the nursery where she works, about the size of a 50p ian ammonite by ian robinson, on Flickr

That would be a wonderful thing to find while gardening.
I do find lots of empty snail shells, which I suppose are descendants of that.
