So thrilled to see 3 Jersey Tigers in my North London garden this evening after never having spotted one before. I gather they are becoming more established in London?

Well done Dawnie. Yes they are now pretty widespread around London. They started off in SE London ten years or more ago but possibly facilitated by the rail network have spread to many parts. Saw my first of the year last week at Barnes. On Saturday had my first garden record in Greenford + an hour or so later found one at Brentford Station.
Sunday morning I was at a mothing session in Perivale + we had 3 in one trap. Quite a few are being reported on the wiki site, Londonbirders.
Also a lot of male Gypsy Moths flying around at the moment.

I'm in Muswell Hill, backing onto Alexandra Palace and Park. Going to sit outside again this evening and see what other beauties I can spy!

I had another yesterday at Greenford Station. Seems to be a bumper year for them which is good news.
