Nice to see some Bog St.John's-wort + still a bit of Bog Asphodel (most now in fruit) flowering today + masses of the local White-beaked Sedge.

Nice to see some Bog St.John's-wort + still a bit of Bog Asphodel (most now in fruit) flowering today + masses of the local White-beaked Sedge. I was surprised how little Bog Asphodel I had seen so far, considering how wet it has been so far this year, usually there are great swathes of it to be seen. Maybe it is only just starting to appear up this end of the woods.

Your weather is obviously very different to ours- we are in intense drought down here! Hoping we might get some thundery showers on Friday. Missed those that were forecast last week!
