Not good at ID-ing spiders the big one with long legs I see lots of, about 2ins the smaller one 1/2in or so and look closely at the fangs and I think it's wrapping that nettle leaf up ian Untitled by ian robinson, on Flickr Untitled by ian robinson, on Flickr

First looks like a Nursery-web Spider, Pisaura mirabilis + the second a Xysticus sp.

Seen whilst water the pot plants in the garden about a 1/4 inch across a green orb weaver of some sort to small and quick for a photo, but bright almost florescent lime green, reminded me of a pair of flares I had in the 70s ian

The second one in the original post is a Larinioides species, almost certainly L. cornutus.
