Cheers for the link Jeff .....any sign of Dorts Hi Dylan. Yes, I'm still alive. Hope you're keeping well and finding plenty of good orchid sites up there in N. Wales. Dorts.

Hi chaps, glad to have found WABI and thought I would ‘dabble’ by uploading one or two photos from this year, in the hope I can get the hang of it.
Hi Jeff Thanks for the link! I see Dorts, aeshna5 and Dylan are here too. Excellent. Ian

Technically not wholly appropriate to WABI as these photos were taken in Dordogne, but the species is so difficult to find in the UK, and also very difficult to photograph, that I thought I’d post these Red Helleborine Jeff Red Helleborine by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr Red Helleborine 4 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

Frog Orchids These plants are growing at an established Frog Orchid site in Denbighshire where most plants are around 15cm tall, indeed the photo in Post 1 of this thread is taken there. These plants grow alongside the track as you enter the site, I would not normally include a ‘prop’ but the tape is there to show how big the plants are. Not the best of photographs I’m afraid, cold and windy but I think they’re worth posting as the plants are so unusual. One plant has eight flowering spikes and there are two other plants with three spikes Jeff Frog Orchid tallest by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr Frog Orchid eight spikes by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr
