Great photo, Ian- you must have had to lay on the ground to get that eye-to-eye view! (and he does have very lovely golden eyes- great colour.)
We never seem to get toads here- lots of frogs at the moment, though.

I can often be seen flat out taking pictures much to the amusement of the odd passerby. But I'll have to fess up and say this boy was picked up and placed on a fence post once they've peed in your hand they'll sit still long enough to get a few snaps and the plus side for the toad was 20 ft closer to the water and off the middle of a shiny white path out the way of the many magpies around that morning ian
