What have we got here: A few of these little guys found in a warm, badly ventilated flat, in kitchen area, near the sink. Their description was that they looked like dust until they moved, so very tiny creatures. They liked to hide under things so favoured the darkness. Dry foods stored in presses above, so it's possible they could have fallen down, though none found actually in those presses. Not very sure from picture, but as a start take a look at pictures of Booklice and Springtails.

Not very sure from picture, but as a start take a look at pictures of Booklice and Springtails. I'm opting for Springtails over Booklice. The overall body shape with an almost distinct head part, although so blurred in my pic, seems to be more like a Springtail. I have to say I always thought springtails were outdoor creatures!
