I had no idea that earthworms pulled leaves underground the way that they did... and the earthworm expert was so enthusiastic about them! She was brilliant.
I thought the fox intelligent tests were a bit hit-or-miss... the crisscrossed ropes confused me, never mind the foxes! (Surely by tugging on one rope, it would make the other one move, too?) I'm going to try and come up with something to test the vixen who visits our garden- she's pretty clever.
I loved seeing the owls, (I always like owls!) and the badgers, and hearing how the fledglings from Springwatch had done. The goose vs. swan flying test was interesting, because I was fascinated by how well the birds flew alongside a moving jeep like that!
Thought Chris Packham's sign banning Michaela from saying things were 'cute' was pretty funny. I like watching the interactions between those two
