I have no idea if this is a 'wild flower'. I was given and orchid as a present, it did not have any labels with it saying what it was. Well it started growing like a creeper and sending out long white runners, so I got a tallish branched twig from the garden for it to grow up -I don't know if this explains the plants that subsequently appeared in the pot. Maybe the twig had wildflower seeds attached it it. I could identify the Ivy-Leafed Toad Flax, but this extremely delicate, spindly plant with tiny wee white flowers has got be beaten. Had to use macro to get photo as the flower cluster in slightly smaller than a drawing pin head plant in orchid pot by Helen Skelton, on Flickr plant in orchid pot3 by Helen Skelton, on Flickr

I feel like I've seen that before, but despite doing a search online I can't find out what it is- the leaves are very distinctive.

Felt very silly when I asked on a wildflower site. Should have smelt it! It is Coriander, extremely stunted by growing in the wrong soil. ie. orchid compost. I can only think that the seeds must have been on the branched twig I got from the garden to prop the orchid up, and also ivy-leafed toad flax has also appeared.

I did think Coriander but then wasn't so sure. I have seen it growing wild on at least one occasion around london from presumably spilt seed.
No problems asking on here as almost anything seems to occur in the wild from time to time, so don't feel silly. We like the challenge!
