The apples on our small tree are already turning red, (it's unfortunate that it overhangs the pond, so that's where most of them end up.) The birds will get a few, and any we manage to collect make a lovely crumble. Ripening Apples July2017 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

... blackberries growing over our garden fence are ripening, too... July seems to be too early for this to be happening, or perhaps I'm not ready to see summer end just yet! Bramble Berries July2017 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

A lot of blackberries now fruiting (still a few flowers too) in the hedge near my front door. I leave it because the bees love the flowers + I enjoy the fruits (along with other wildlife). Sign of autumn- also didn't see any of the local Swifts yesterday- they had been extra hyperactive the preceeding few days).

The woods here have a couple of patches of wild growing raspberry's never seem to have a lot of fruit but there's a few showing at the moment. I'll only taste one or two and leave the rest. P- 001 by IAN ROBINSON, on Flickr
