I photographed this climbing up the side of the summerhouse- it was only about 20mm long, maybe a bit more. Very bright blue-green highlights when the sun shone on it., I was wondered if anyone knew what it might be.

Are you sure about the size? Look similar to the blue form of Plateumaris sericea, but I think these are generally smaller.

Or another thought, have a look at Thick-legged Flower Beetle (Ischnomera cyanea), the back legs seem to fit

Looks like an Ischnomera sp. to me. I. cyanea is the most common but the other two species are very, very similar and require microscopic examination to tell apart.
