It is, at times, difficult to tell the difference between a Pied Wagtail and a White Wagtail so the default would normally be Pied Wagtail.
However, the I think the Wagtail in your photograph is a White Wagtail. The mantle is a quite grey whereas the mantle of the Pied Wagtail would be virtually black. The difference is more noticeable in summer plumage.

Harold. The colours are muted as the photo was taken at an angle to the glass of a double glazed window. I have read that the grey wagtail is more colourful and has some yellow, belly/tail?

It's nothing like a Grey Wagtail; as said above it's an adult female Pied Wagtail!!
