I came across this recently, and think it's interesting... it shows current wind patterns and directions around the world. I've not fully explored it yet, (I think there is a YouTube video on how to use it properly.) You can spin the globe around using your cursor, and then double-click left on the mouse to enlarge an area, (I haven't sussed out how to get it to go back again yet.) and then double-click left on the mouse to enlarge an area, (I haven't sussed out how to get it to go back again yet.) Instead of *double-click*, use the scroll wheel to enlarge or reduce.
