Is anyone interested in travelling? I've got the bug now and will be heading back to SE Asia hopefully in the next few months. When I was last there, I lived in Vietnam but also travelled to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Hong Kong.Frqnce I've also travelled to America a few times, Canada, Spain, The Netherlands, Germany and France.

Sorry I've put this in the wrong forum. Please move to Chit chat, I couldn't find a delete thread option.

Lucky you. We love travelling, I met my partner while we were both on holiday in the Middle East, but cannot go for long now because of work and family commitments. I have enjoyed Laos and Cambodia. Lots of wildlife I remember, but need to watch out for the snakes. When himself retires we want to go to America and buy an old car or van and travel round for six months.

In UK I've lived & worked in Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Derby, Birkenhead, Carlisle and now for many years, rural N Cumbria. Have visited London but otherwise anything South of Birmingham is a total unknown! For many years Ontario was an annual event (visiting the outlaws - my wife was born there) and we've done quite a few of the touristy trips to Spain, a couple of The Balearics, 3 of The Canaries, Turkey, and once to Cyprus (never again!)and once to Jersey. Hate the actual travelling (driving or flying) but love to be at the destinations and as we get older the prospect of the journey gets ever less appealing.
