I found this on the ground under the nyger feeder, and because of the bit of yellow on it I'm presuming it's from one of the goldfinches. I'm pleased they have become regulars... the other day I think there had to have been six of them around the feeder and in the nearby shrubs. Yes goldfinch, there are nineteen wing feathers ten primaries and nine secondaries this looks very much like S6 S for secondary.
