Found this small moth this morning, my moth id is pretty bad but the nearest moth with similar markings I can find is P. aurata and I bet I am wrong! Would appreciate a correct id. Shirl

Good job you didn't put money on being wrong as you are spot on. Often called the Mint Moth + feeds on a range of herbs. Likes Marjoram in my garden.

Pretty common- certainly down here. Not sure how far north they get.
