Are you planning on bringing the Sturkling Diaries out in a book form any time soon? You know, you do draw beautifully.... sites.google.com/site/sturklingdiaries/homeyou could do a fantasic illustrated book on British birds, if you ever get tired of starlings, oops... I mean sturklings!

I second that. And it's not just the sturklard of the art, but the humour that oozes from every detail (you see – it's catching).

Thanks so much for the truly inspirational comments rowanberry and faith! Glad to hear that the 'urk' is catching. I even call the Starlings that visit my garden 'Sturklings'! Had forgotten about the book idea (it's me age, y'know), but will check this out whilst it is still fresh in my mind. I've just found a company called Cowling and Wilcox who have been selling the pens I use for £1 each (normally £2.50 each). I've bought enough to keep me going for the next twenty years (well, a couple of years anyway) so plenty of new adventures to come!! They do some great deals on other painting and drawing materials too, so well worth a look for arty people looking to stock up. So glad you rescued the remains of WAB. This is a nice place and full of very nice people. Well done to you all.

Only just found this - super. Agree a wildlife art section would be nice. Love the fox and the snow buntings - talent.

So true NellyDee. There is a lot of talent among the members on this forum as rowanberry and faith have demonstrated. The file size limit is not a problem as images can be put on Flickr or a similar image hosting site and then the link posted onto the forum.

It's good that you found such a great deal on your pens... art materials can cost a small fortune sometimes!
