I did not know I had taken this photo! I took a photo of the sparrow hawk sitting on the fence. Decided to change the setting on the camera and adjust my position. looked up and the sparrow hawk had gone - lots of swearing on my part! Looked at the images on my camera later and could not believe my eyes, I must had accidently pressed the shutter while moving and by sheer fluke the camera had got the sparrow hawk flying off. I came across this photo again while sorting my photos.

An amazing piece of luck. Bet if you had tried to capture it leaving, the photo wouldn't have worked.

I am a great believer in the fact that all the best photos are not taken by design or set up but in fact by accident or when the subject is not expecting it, natural is the word I am thinking of. Alan
