In our garden ( Derbyshire Dales) this morning, the first few Snowdrop flowers have just appeared, to be honest despite all hat mild weather in December, I don't think they are earlier than normal - maybe they have just been waiting for the cold spell. Lovely sight though, won't be long now before the early Spring flowers join them.

If only. I was getting excited by all the buds and flowers appearing, and now everything is covered by 4" of snow and the temperature is -5C.

I think they have gone back to sleep again! I have found 4 white flower buds though - just waiting, plenty more to come

We have 6 buds at the moment (West Midlands), but they haven't fully opened yet.

Hope the buds on my snow drops and anemone do not nod off in the wind overnight and tomorrow. Only got 2 snowdrops...

All our Snowdrops are in full bloom - if they survive the heavy rain and winds they will be lucky! Crocus and primrose also flowering, daffodils still in tight bud.

Saw my first snowdrops this morning in a neighbour's garden... about a half-dozen or so.
