Hi folks, hope someone can assist me with this little one's identity. Was found on low hanging tree branches in wooded area, and was sitting upside down on a messy criss-cross web (which makes me think it is Linyphiidae). Found in South Devon early September this year, and is 2mm body length. First thoughts are Neriene species spiderling but not sure. Thank you for any help! spider12 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr spider12 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

Hi Anzu, Just been having a look around at some posts that have not had answers to, like your one here, I agree with you on Linphydae and am sure that it is Neriene pelata, habitat wooded areas and hangs about on low vegetation, bushes and lower branches of trees, Duncan
