Thinking maybe I've got too many micro-frogs since I saved all of this years frogspawn in a seperate netted pond, reckon I had around 5 to 10 thousand tadpoles at the height of their growing, all reared on fish food.
Mind you they're fun to watch trying to catch the flies buzzing around on the main pond but wondering if there's going to be enough food for them all, what with the hot dry weather (no mini slugs around?)

Great eye-level photo, Exo.
I've read that they will eat aphids, and there seems to be plenty of those around at the moment!

Thats a good idea rowanberry, I'll give that a try, should be fun...
I think I'll avoid using the aphids infesting the ragwort - probably they will have lots of alkaloid in them, could be dangerous for the frogs ?

Best to let them find their own food I think!

As you say Aeshna5 probably best to do that, natural order & all that.
Just for fun though (I'm not getting into feeding them all), a test showed they seemed to like the aphids anyway..
As you said rowanberry, there's a lot of them about this year, these were on ground-elder.
