At the beginning of October last year there were several Red Admirals fluttering round our yard and four of them took a rest on one of our sheds door's. The sun had warmed it, so it must have been very comfortable...several flies thought so too !

One on the Isle of Lewis and two here. Glad to hear that at least your way they seemed to do OK.
