Thanks John I'll take a look but I seem to remember trying that Access run time before and it not working for me says it's downloaded but I could never find it. Does it work as a plugin for works or office? Most files I need to open, I open with Foxit reader ian

Sorry Ian
I have been away for a few days without Internet access. I can't answer your questions because mine loaded upok without any issues.
Do you know any experts with the Microsoft suites. If so they should be able to help load it up and get it running.

Excellent one, John. I read on BirdGiudes it appeared to be moving from north Norfolk and the money was on it going towards Lincolnshire. You must be well pleased.

Thanks for the database link John. I have all the birds I have seen over the years on my pan list, and have not got around to doing a yearly sighting, this will make things a lot easier.

Hopefully the database works well for you. I have been using mine for years and it is great for all my sightings. Still no birding for me. Haven't had the urge to go out, especially with some of the bad weather we are having. Did a very soggy walk this morning with my Dog and saw my first Chiffchaff of the year. I have heard a few over the last few weeks but they were always out of sight. 136. Chiffchaff.

Been on Eriskay for a week, but every day bought something new, for instance here I have only seen the odd oyster catcher, never flocks of them, nor flocks of lapwings, dunlins, shelducks fighting even saw a murmuration of starlings. Saw eagle, tree pippit a range of ducks and gulls, it was a joy

Today was my annual pilgrimage to the Wyre Forest. Before during to there I had to take my dog for a walk and along the route I saw my first Willow Warbler of the year.
I had 5 target birds to find. Four of them were relatively easy but the Redstarts were missing from their usual areas but thankfully I managed to hear one then see one in an area where I haven't seen one before.
Just before I left the forest a message came through telling me that an Osprey was only four miles from my house at Brandon Marsh, some 55 miles away. I had to drop my dog off at home first, as they are not allowed there. Two hours later I was watching the Osprey catching fish. An excellent finish to a lovely day.

I popped over to Brandon Marsh again to see the Osprey. It was thankfully easy to find and watch.
As I walked around the reserve I did add three more birds to my year list.
145. Common Tern 146. Sedge Warbler 147. Cetti's Warbler
