Thanks for the id, Ruadh! They were still there today, and I was surprised- with so many dog-walkers around that area, any mushrooms are often trampled.

Fungi in the wood - The honey fungus is having a whale of a time in the lower part of my woodland, which has been flooded for most of the year - looks very pretty though with the autumn colours. Problem with the honey it is spreading outwith this area. OK on the fallen trees, just hope it does not spread to the living ones. Honey Fungus by Helen Skelton, on Flickr
