This article in the Telegraph makes for sobering reading. It says that now three-quarters of European drinking water is contaminated by plastic pollution... and there's also this- "A 2016 study by the University of Ghent revealed that Britons who eat seafood risk ingesting up to 11,000 pieces of plastic every year. Fish stocks are now so full of plastic that up to one-third of the fish caught off the coast of South West England is thought to contain traces of it." So even the food doctors recommend we eat as being good for us is actually poisoning us. To say nothing of what it's doing to marine wildlife in the first place. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/09/13/choking-plastic-pollution-time-uk-act/

Never did like fish - mind you, at the rate we're poisoning the planet much of our food will soon be contaminated with something.
