Not sure if this is fungi on fungi or a furry bracket of some sort growing on and under birch, has a real furry or even crystal look if you zoom in close enough. The nearest I've seen to it is silver leaf fungi but I don't think this is that. The first image is a Theleophora sp. (eg: T. terrestris, but I'm no expert). The 2nd. looks like 'Plums & Custard' (Tricholomopsis rutilans). The last image might be 'The Miller' (Clitopilus prunulus), which has a strong smell of freshly ground flour; or a number of Clitocybe spp.

I thought perhaps The Miller never considered Plums and Custard although I do see plenty like this and the more colourful younger ones the Theleophora is a new one for me. Thanks. ian
