Short limp around the wood this morning and it was quite lovely mist floating over the surface of the lake coot and moorhen crackling away and pigeons cooing behind me, also brought up a couple of nice shrooms. The beef steak bracket, it's the first time I've seen this in these woods, often see the fly agarics the spots seem to have slipped on this one and an ugly milkcap. The mold growing on the fallen birch has taken hold quickly it only fell down a week or two back. ian beef steak bracket by IAN ROBINSON, on Flickr fly agaric by IAN ROBINSON, on Flickr ugly milkcap by IAN ROBINSON, on Flickr by IAN ROBINSON, on Flickr by IAN ROBINSON, on Flickr
