I saw this tiny little thing flitting about this morning, and it briefly came to rest on this stone... long enough for me to get this one photograph of it. It was hardly any larger than a five pence coin, and it was very colourful with distinctive markings. Small Moth on Stone 2017 by Wabi Gallery, on Flickr

Thanks for the id... I'll have to keep an eye out for any more. It's a pretty little thing, but I don't want it eating too much of my lemon balm plant, (which after looking them up I have learned they particularly like!) There is plenty of mint in the garden, it can have all the apple mint it wants.

I think it's taken a fancy to my marjoram this year, as well as my mint
