Suggest you read the Technical Issues posts on uploading images. If you have just joined this site I suggest you look through all the forums first with each one there are notices at the top of most with ideas. But look also under new members. It is usually best to get to know a site first before wading in right away.

It may be like the old site of WAB where you have to reduce your image to 800 X 600 in order to upload your image

Welcome to WABI Skywatcher & Duncan 74.
WABI has very limited space to upload photographs which is a restriction imposed by our hosts ProBoards.
The way most of us have overcome this is to set up a Flickr account for yourself and upload your photographs to it. When you want to include a photograph in your post click on the BBCODE in the bottom left of your post. Open another window and go to your Flickr account, select the photo you want to show, click on the 'share photo' button, select BBCODE, copy the URL and then paste it into to your post. Click on 'Preview' in the bottom left of your post and it will display your post with the photograph. There are no restrictions on the number of photos you can show or the size, though it is recommended that you select small or medium as anything bigger can swamp your screen, especially if your are imbedding multiple photos.
Hope this is of some help.
Harold.
