Hello there once again, yes Alan is still a live having fallen over in the dark a few more times, well if a thing is worth doing it is worth doing well is it not.
Now then where was I oh yes, as I may have mentioned previously I have been spending a great deal of time glued to the spot watching little owls go about their business and so as one might expect there are often long periods of time where nothing much happens and short periods of time when everything happens. So in order to fill in these long periods of time I purchased five books to read whilst in the back of beyond, the first of which is briefly outlined below.
Firstly I found the grammar simply appalling especially for one who went to Cambridge but hey no one is perfect, I also found the whole book very hard going, in short dead boring. But then again one was left with the feeling there is much more to this man then portrayed in this book or by his TV persona.
And so to further illustrate the point I will now fly off on a tangent, well you know Alan dear reader…
Ok so I once worked with a man known to everyone as Ray the mad volcano, meaning he was prone to explosion of outrageous unpredictable behaviour. Yes a man short in stature and the possessor of the most piercing mad blue eyes, in fact it put one in mind of a mad axe man who also had a great liking for very large swords and knives that he would wave about whenever the mood took him.
And so you can imagine the feeling of dread when Alan was sent work with a man more than twice my age, sarcastic, set in his ways and temperamental to boot, not to mention the vast amount of profanities that passed his lips at times, but hey no one is perfect.
But as I got to know him better he was really not that bad at all certainly not how he was made out to be, one just had to understand the workings of Ray’s little grey matter, a pussy cat well not quite but in the end it was a pleasure to have known him despite his very large collection of swords and knives from around the world. What do they say never judge a book by its cover.
Alan, one book finished four more to go…….. later

Jeremy Paxman (A life in questions
Hmm not quite to Alan’s taste but you know me dear reader anything for a laugh, well it did say funny and entertaining which is not a thing one would first associate with Mr Paxman to say the very least.Firstly I found the grammar simply appalling especially for one who went to Cambridge but hey no one is perfect, I also found the whole book very hard going, in short dead boring.
