Hi. Had a nice long walk Sunday with the dog, I'll almost always take my camera on longer walks and this time there was lots to photograph. So I thought I'd share a couple on here. Pretty sure the caterpillar is a Drinker moth, one butterfly is a marsh fritillery and the other I need help with. Ian.

The third photograph looks like a Latticed Heath (Chiasmia clathrata clathrata)

Thanks Harold, a moth not a butterfly then bit sneeky the way it folds it's wings though and thanks for the kind words NellyDee here's one just for you from this mornings walk down an old railway track now a footpath and cylcle route, much the better for it. The Speckled wood is my favorite butterfly I see lots in the woods across from my house and it's always a delight to watch as they flit through the shafts of light amongst the leaves. ian.
