Just in case this is helpful to others:
I'm using an older version of Windows and accessing WABI has become quite challenging at times with the adds sparking off flashplayer and caning the CPU and making navigation impossible. I've finally got around to plugging in a script blocker to Firefox and peace is restored with the CPU chugging along happily in single digit percent while I'm posting to WABI. I guess most folks use a script blocker as standard but I tend to avoid the sort of sites where they are really needed so it hasn't been an issue for me previously. Anyway here recorded in case it is of use to anyone else.

I used script blocker ages ago, kept making my computer hang. I did use Firefox but it caused me too many problems with my work, so went back to Windows Internet Explorer now on V.11.
