Hi All. Thank goodness I found this forum. Sad about the Wildaboutbritain forum and hope this one becomes as useful to me as the other one was helping to ID my wildlife photos. Will be posting a ID request as soon as I have finished posting this. Cheers

Hi there My name is Joomoo and I’m a moderator / admin on Garden Wildlife UK forum. A year ago we were in the same boat as you. A group of us had hung out on a forum that got shut down, so we found another and took over that and made it our home. Then one day a year ago, that shut down without notice. Luckily after the previous time a few of us swapped messages and emails and had an “emergency area” on facebook, so gathered together most of our main members Two of us tried to set up on free forums to keep us going, but we weren’t really happy with that, so a few of us decided we needed something more permanent, so got ourselves a domain name and host (I may be an admin but I’ve got a techy whizz to sort all that stuff out haha) and set up our own site that we know won’t fall down. And we’re shortly about to celebrate our first birthday. We might only be small, but we love our garden birds and animals and the British countryside. So while you are in this interim period, we’d like to extend the hand of friendship to you all and see if you’d like to join us and compare fledglings, ponds, hedgehogs, silly jokes and more. gardenwildlifeuk.co.uk/

I think you will find that you must remove the "www." as hyperlinks always start with http.

Hehe, I told you I wasn't techy. But that's a rookie mistake

So glad that WAB members are finding ways to get back together again. Must have been a huge shock. Took me a while to find this group, but it is nice to see. I did the same for another wildlife forum that 'vanished' so if I can be of any help (some of you will know my pro board site), just drop me an email.

I enjoyed your sturkling diaries at WaB., and thanks for the offer of help. We're still finding our way around at present.

Took me a while to find it, google just could not locate the site but I was very lucky and found a link from another forum, pleased I did. Shirl
